April, 2004, Wonder Eyes Photo Program was carried out in Mozambique -- in Zambezia, northern state, and in Inhambane, southern state. In Zambezia, collaborated and supported by CCM that has been developing the TAE Project (Exchanging the arms with the utensils), and in Inhambane supported by Zavala district office. A total of 100 of elementary and junior high school children participated. Almost 30 years after the independence, and more than 10 years after the conflict at that time, the country was recovering and developing with hope.
The innocent eyes of children show the peaceful living.
Children took photos using compact digital camera at workshop, also taking the instant film camera home. For almost all, it was the first time to take photos by camera.
*after 10 years later, another workshop and photo exhibition done in Mozambique.
The photo exhibition was held in Japan and made project brochure of photos.
